Select Healthcare Group has a strong commitment to the West Midlands. The family owned company currently operates 10 care homes in the region.

Most of these West Midlands nursing care homes are located in the country and provide a full regime of care and recreational activities for residents. Most of these facilities are listed as residential care homes which provide 24 hour a day personalized care. One of Select’s specialties is creating personalized care plans for residents.

In addition to residential care facilities Select operates the Coach House a 66 bed mental healthcare facility in Wolverhampton. The Coach House specializes in helping individuals recover from mental illnesses and psychiatric conditions. The staff at the Coach House also expertise in assessing alcohol related conditions.

The Dell Care Home in Stourbridge , the Swiss House Care Home also in Stourbridge and the Swiss Lodge Care Home in Dudley are facilities for adults with learning disabilities. Some facilities for adults with learning disabilities are also provided at Coach House.

Select Healthcare has shown its commitment to the West Midlands by starting construction of a state of the art Neuro-Rehabilitation Care Center in Coseley. This brand new facility located just off the Birmingham New Road is scheduled to open in 2011.
